This site belongs to Sufficiently Advanced AI, run by Scott Jennings. It exists to publish executive briefs and to describe consulting work. This page says plainly what the site records, which outside services are involved, how outreach email is measured, and how to opt out. Questions or requests: [email protected].

What this site records

Aggregate visit statistics (Plausible)

Page views, the page you came from, the country you are in, your device type and browser, and any campaign tag on the link you followed. Plausible sets no cookies and does not track you across sites. It derives a visitor count from a hash of your IP address and browser that is salted daily and never stored, so it cannot be tied back to you. Data is processed and held in the EU under Plausible's data policy.

Brief downloads

When a PDF is fetched, our hosting edge records the file name, time, country, the network it was requested from, a few browser headers, and any campaign tag. We use this to tell readers from the automated link scanners that corporate email security runs. IP addresses are not stored. These records are kept for about 90 days.

Visitor identification (Apollo)

Most pages load a script from Apollo.io that tries to identify the company a visit comes from, and in some cases the person, by matching network and browser signals against Apollo's contact database. Where a match is made it is recorded in our outreach records. This page does not load it. Most tracking-protection settings and ad blockers prevent it, and you can ask us to remove any record it creates.

Contact form

If you use a contact form on this site, the submission is processed by Formspree and emailed to us. We keep what you send for as long as we are in conversation.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard security and performance logs for its own operation under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Cookies

This site sets none of its own. The third-party services named above may set their own; their policies are linked.

Outreach email

We send short, individually addressed emails to people in business roles whose details come from Apollo's database or from public sources. If you are in the EU or UK, we rely on legitimate interest in business-to-business contact; you can object at any time.
